Volunteers wanted for London Series 2020!

MLB is returning to London in 2020 and we need your help!
The St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs will be playing the second London Series on 13 and 14 June 2020, and a fun-filled agenda of events and activities is in planning.
BaseballSoftballUK has put out a call for volunteers from the baseball/softball community to help run these events during Britain’s biggest-ever baseball and softball celebration. Volunteer opportunities will be available for BSUK-led events surrounding the London Series. Last year, more than 100 volunteers were recruited by BSUK to help make our London Series legacy events possible.
Three types of volunteers are needed:
- Coaches who have experience running activities with children and adults.
- Assistant Coaches who know the fundamentals of baseball or softball and have played to a reasonable level.
- Support Staff. No specific baseball or softball knowledge is required, but support staff need to be responsible and competent adults who will be comfortable doing a variety of tasks.
All voluntary coaches should have a current valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. We will check and support new applications submitted in a timely manner.
Volunteers need to be 18 years and over to help.
At this stage, we are currently gauging interest and will be in touch with successful applicants with specific roles in due course.
