Slowpitch Softball Academy returns March 2020!

BaseballSoftballUK’s popular Slowpitch Softball Academy will return to Farnham Park on 14 March 2020! Be the player you want to be, and register today!
Update 20/1/20: Due to a large amount of interest, the Slowpitch Softball Academy for 14 March is currently at capacity. Further information will be announced as it becomes available.
Training will be once again be delivered by expert BSUK coaches, led by Robbie Robison and based around a carefully-designed programme of skills development. The session will be aimed at shaking off the cobwebs for those who want to get game-ready and maximise their preparation for the 2020 outdoor season!
The Slowpitch Softball Academy is primarily for adult players, but all ages and skill levels are welcome.
Robbie Robison is a former GB Slowpitch Team player and Assistant Coach, is currently the Head Coach for the GB U-18 Women's Fastpitch Team and is the Head Coach at both the Softball Academy and High Performance Academy, BaseballSoftballUK's established athlete training structures for fastpitch softball and baseball that are designed to develop players on a performance pathway towards national team selection.
The Slowpitch Academy sessions will use the coaching and training principles developed over the past few years at the Academy, HPA, and previous Slowpitch Softball Academy sessions.
Date and topics
The session will be held from 10:00 am to 3:00 PM on Saturday 14 March, with a lunch break.
The session will be held outdoors, so please dress appropriately.
Session topics will cover fielding, throwing and batting. A scrimmage in the afternoon post-training subject to numbers.
Insurance cover and water will be provided. Players should wear personal playing kit and bring gloves and their favourite bat if they have one.

Showers, changing rooms and toilets are all available onsite.
Cost and registration
The cost for attending the sessions will be £25. Founding Members can take an additional 25% off ticket prices, and team rates for groups of five or more are available by contacting BSUK here.
Please note that payment must be made at the time of registration, and you will be directed to Paypal to pay at the end of the form, although an account is not required.
