Coach Summit 2022 starts 29 January

Fri 10 Dec 2021

BaseballSoftballUK is excited to announce that Coach Summit 2022 will be held online launching 29 January 2022.  Following last year's highly successful Coach Summit, the 2022 summit will return online and feature webinars, keynote speeches and workshops intended to support coaches through an ongoing programme of learning opportunities. Sessions will run from January through March in order to make sure the entire baseball and softball community has a chance to attend.

This year’s Summit will revolve around three major themes: Adaptation, Relevance and Resilience, focusing on how coaching baseball and softball can be tailored to today’s challenging circumstances. Each of the keynote speakers will focus on these themes in their sessions, and participants are encouraged to bring related questions.

The opening session of Coach Summit 2022 will take place from 3-6 PM GMT on Saturday 29 January 2022, and will feature a number of keynote speakers, including Andre Lachance of Baseball Canada, Head Coach Rachael Watkeys of the GB Senior Women’s Fastpitch Softball Team, ranked 15th in the world, and GB Baseball Head Coach Drew Spencer, fresh off GB Baseball’s best finish at the Men’s European Baseball Championships in 14 years.

For the first time ever, the Summit will be free to attend for EVERYONE – it is especially encouraged for any club that is a member of the Development Charter, including all British Baseball and British Softball Federation clubs. Registration is required and can be done via the link below. Please spread the word – in making the Summit free for all, we are looking to ensure the greatest number of baseballers and softballers benefit!

Watch for future announcements on this website and on BSUK social media about speakers, themes and specific session topics over the next couple of months. We are building up a high-quality programme of sessions, involving many familiar and some new and exciting presenters.
