BSUK x British Baseball Podcast present Player of the Year!

This year saw BaseballSoftballUK and the British Baseball Podcast launch the Player of the Week award, to recognise the best performances in British baseball and British softball each week.
Following 21 weeks of winners, which can be seen here, we are opening up nominations for the Player of the Year Award!
The Player of the Year Nominations will be open for a week - until 4 October 2021 - and all nominations are welcome. Unlike Player of the Week, four candidates for each sport (baseball and softball) will be shortlisted by BSUK and British Baseball Podcast's Matt Mutton rather than selected randomly.
Following the nomination process, the public will be able to vote on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and via Web for their Player of the Year! Voting will start on 5 October and run until 13 October, with the winner announced on 15 October at 5 PM.
Please nominate a deserving player below. Players can be nominated for on or off-field achievements, but on-field is preferred. Please try to keep your nomination short - 200 characters is ideal - so that it fits in a single Tweet!
Any player from all teams are eligible to be nominated for Player of the Year, and BSUK will not choose nominees based on league or affiliation.
