BaseballSoftballUK is pleased to announce the return of Baseball Academy for the 2021-2022 Academy season.

The Academy is designed to help players of all skills turn the off-season into an opportunity to become better, stronger and fitter athletes. This is a great time to make improvements in your game, and our excellent Academy coaches will be on hand to help you do it.

We are pleased to announce the dates and structure of the 2021-2022 Baseball Academy. The programme will feature both Regional and National sessions, along with new content and adjustments to the previous Academy curriculum.

The following venues will be used for this year’s programme:

Regional:

• Birmingham: Gospel Oak Sports Centre (Bilston Rd, Tipton DY4 0BZ)
• North-West: Manchester - FIVES Trafford (Trafford Way, Trafford Park, Stretford, Manchester M17 8DD)

National:

• Coventry - Alan Higgs Centre (Allard Way, Coventry CV3 1HW)
• Buckinghamshire – Farnham Park National Baseball & Softball Complex (Beaconsfield Rd, SL23BP)

Coaching

• 1997 – 2002 Player South Africa Men's Softball Team 
• 2000 - Represented South Africa Men's Softball Team at World Softball Championships in South Africa
• 2003 -2005 Coach South Africa Men's Softball Team
• 2004 - Coach South Africa Men's Softball Team at World Softball Championships in New Zealand
• 2017 – 2019 Head Coach South Africa U12 Baseball Team
• 2017 - Coached South Africa u12 Baseball Team at WBSC U12 World Baseball Championships in Taiwan
• 2019 - Coached South Africa u12 Baseball Team at WBSC U12 World Baseball Championships in Taiwan

Pricing

There will be three package plans available for the programme. 

• Single Session – £25: Access to a single session, regional or national. No kit included. 
• Regional Membership – £70: Access to all Regional sessions. No kit included. 
• National Membership – £140: Access to all Regional and National sessions. Kit included (cap or visor, 2021 Academy dry-fit shirt).  

The Academy programme is open to all boys and girls aged 9 to 25 regardless of ability, who wish to improve and maximise their potential. Player registration for BaseballSoftballUK Academy programming is now open here.
